Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

• The candidate must have passed the 10th grade from any recognized board.

• If you want to apply, a valid LMV motor car driving license issued by a competent authority is also required.

• 10th qualification plus a driving license. One year of driving experience is also needed.

• A domicile certificate is also required

2. Age Limit (as on 28th September 2025)

• Minimum Age: 18 years

• Maximum Age: 27 years

• Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories:

  • OBC: 3 years relaxation

  • SC/ST: 5 years relaxation

  • Ex-servicemen and departmental candidates: As per government rules

Candidates need to pay the following application fee:

•  ₹650 for  General/OBC and EWS categories for males is (₹100 examination fee and ₹550 recruitment processing fee)

• SC/ST and female and ex-servicemen pay only 500 rupees, which is the recruitment processing fee; there is no examination fee for these categories.

Selection Process

The selection has four stages. In stage 1, an objective-type question paper will be given, which has general awareness, reasoning, English language, and driving rule-related questions. Then you have to go for a driving test and a motor mechanism test, which is included in a physical practical skill. Candidates who have done well in these two rounds will be called for an interview, and only the shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. After the interview is done, the final selected candidates will undergo document verification and medical examination to check that their documents are authentic and ensure they are medically fit
